Mudslide on Highway 99:
As of 2:00PM on Saturday, December 14th, there has been a landslide between Lions Bay Avenue and Brunswick Beach Road, blocking both directions of Highway 99. Trees and debris are on the roadway, expect delays. For updated information, check www.drivebc.ca. The resort front desk will be monitoring the same information (604) 932-4724 and closes at 6PM.

Renovations Around the Resort:
During the off-season in Whistler, from September to November and April to June, construction and renovations are common as the village prepares for the next tourist season. Guests should be aware that noise from these activities may impact their stay. The local noise bylaw is in effect from 8 AM to 8 PM, so most disruptions will occur within those hours. If you’re planning a trip during these times, it’s good to keep this in mind!

Winter Road Conditions: Unpredictable weather on Hwy 99 leading to Whistler will cause closures and delays periodically. Check the road conditions at www.drivebc.ca.
Winter Tires: The Sea to Sky Highway is a mountain highway, where conditions can be unpredictable due to rapid changes in elevation and weather. ... For safety in winter conditions, passenger vehicles are required by law to have winter tires installed to drive the Sea to Sky Highway between October 1st and March 31st.
Border Crossing: Travel to and from the USA, Mexico and Canada via air requires a valid passport. For other means of transportation, check the latest requirement at www.travel.state.gov. Cars registered outside of Canada must carry a minimum of $200,000 third party legal liability insurance. Proof of insurance must be kept in the vehicle at all times. Visitors with rental cars should carry a copy of the rental contract, endorsed for entry into Canada. Vehicles not registered to the driver require a letter of authorization from the vehicle owner.

Sport Equipment:Currently we have only 6 spots for storing bikes on property. They are on a first-come-first-serve basis. The WB/Vail is NOT providing overnight bike storage this year. Clock Tower cannot be held responsible for damaged equipment stored on or offsite.
Throughout the Year
Due to the small size of the units and the narrowness of the staircase, large sport equipment (bikes, skis, kayaks, etc.) are not allowed in the units. Limited storage is available, for a nominal fee, near the front desk.
Please be advised that during the two largest events of the year, Crankworx and the GranFond, the storage is usually full. No reservations will be taken for storage spaces, so please plan accordingly. Currently, there is no alternative bike storage offered in the village.
The Invictus Games are coming to Whistler BC Canada in 2025 from February 5-17. With this special event comes special reservation policies for VI’s Clock Tower resort due to the limited number of rooms, parking spaces and local area restrictions.
Please contact Owner services if you wish to join the waitlist for a reservation during this time.
After Hour Check-In:
Instructions will be posted in the lobby by the closed front desk office door, although on the day of your arrival, phone the resort during business hours at (604)932-4724. This will ensure you receive specific and accurate information regarding the lock box. This is essential to receive the code for the key lockbox, which will allow you to check-in smoothly. Getting the lockbox code will allow you to check-in without delay upon your arrival. If you don’t have the code when you arrive, you will need to contact the security company for an in-person check-in, which may take up to an hour. Please note that the security company does not have the lockbox code, as it changes daily.
Location: The resort is located in the heart of Whistler Village. The restaurants and nightlife in the area can generate a high level of noise.
Resort Access: The Clock Tower does not have ground floor units. There is no elevator and you will encounter numerous stairs throughout the property.
WIFI: Complimentary WIFI is available in your condominium.
DVD players are available upon request from the front desk. SHAW TV offers over 27,000 free movies.
Whistler Solid Waste Bylaws
The Resort Municipality of Whistler (RMOW) is beginning enforcement of its solid waste bylaw by imposing fines to businesses who do not:
- collect and divert food waste, no longer accepted in garbage bins;
- implement three-stream waste collection (recycling, compost, and garbage); and
- prevent contamination of recycling and organic waste.
Whistler’s solid waste bylaw updates support Whistler’s mission of achieving zero waste. Separating organics, which include food scraps, compostable materials, and even yard waste, is one way of keeping waste out of landfill, which is costly to the community and environment.
Any fines imposed on the Clock Tower Resort by the RMOW will soon be passed on to the guests in the form of a garbage fee.

Equipment Rental:
While The Clock Tower does not provide baby equipment, guests can conveniently rent a variety of baby essentials through BABY'S ON THE GO. They offer items such as cribs, strollers, highchairs, and much more. For additional information please visit their website at www.babysonthego.com
- Fees/Taxes
Fines: The following fines will be assessed for non-compliance.
Over-occupancy policy: $50.00 per person, per night. Occupancy limits apply to all ages including infants.
No pet policy: $350.00. Pets are not allowed at VI Resorts.
No smoking policy: $350.00. Smoking is not allowed in rooms, decks, lanais or patios.
Late check-out policy: $25.00. Charged every half hour after check-out time of 11:00am.
Noise complaint: $105.00 minimum will be charged for noise complaints if Sea to Sky Security is called
Fees
After-hours lock out: $50.00
Room key replacement: $2.00 per key card
Ski lock replacement: $25.00
Parking: The underground parking spaces at the Clock Tower is subject to a parking fee of $12.00 per night, plus taxes. The fee will be collected upon check-in by the resort staff. With 10 parking stalls for 15 units, the parking spots are assigned on a first-come first paid basis. There is a 6'7 height limit. No reservations will be accepted. The garage is not a secured lot - parking is entirely at your risk.
Limited public parking is available ¼ mile away and can cost up to $36.00/ 24 hours. There is no free overnight parking during peak season.

Bike storage: Clock Tower bike storage will hold 6 bikes, 4 hanging and 2 below. Bikes are not allowed in the units. A $2/day fee per bike will be collected. The storage spots are assigned on a first-paid, first-served basis. No reservations will be accepted.
Onsite charges at VI Managed resorts in Canada: All payments taken at VI managed resorts in Canada (Clock Tower, Rosewood, Royal Victoria Suites, and Pinnacle Lodge), are processed in Canadian currency. These charges include applicable taxes and incidentals (including food and beverage fees at Rosewood and Pinnacle Lodge).
Taxes: All reservations made for travel to VI Resorts in Canada will be charged Canada’s (PST/GST) tax. Taxes for reservations to non-VI managed resorts, including VI at Rosedale on Robson, will be added to members account and billed after travel.
