Building 1 Update:
Enhancements are complete! Guests will enjoy new king beds, fresh carpeting in Building 1 common areas, and Keurig coffee machines in every room.
For added convenience, ski lockers have been relocated to Garage 3, with walk-in access. (Garage 3 is located between Buildings 1 & 2)

Travel Information:
- There are no gas stations in Sun Peaks. The closest is in Heffley Creek 35.5 Kilometers (21.5 miles) from the resort.

From October 1 – May 1, vehicles must be prepared with either snow tires and/or snow chains. Please be aware that there are no gas stations nor gasoline available in Sun Peaks. The closest gas station is at Hefley Creek, approximately 32 km (20 miles) downhill from the resort.

Late Arrival:
Late Arrival: After 7 PM, call 1‑250‑578‑7136 (press 1) to speak to a live agent to get your access code for reception (Building 1). Your named folio and wristband keys will be waiting at the front desk—just see the staff in the morning to complete check-in.
HOT TUB UPDATE:Effective immediately, the Hot Tub will be open daily from 8AM to 9PM. These hours ensure the tub maintains optimal heat while aligning with quiet-time guidelines.
HOT TUB COVER:To preserve optimal temperature during the colder months, the hot tub cover must remain on at all times outside of active use. Guests are welcome to remove & replace the cover during operating hours.If you require assistance, please speak with an on-site staff member—our team is happy to help.*Staff assistance is available from 8AM to 9PM daily.Thank you for your understanding & cooperation.

Personal BBQ's: NO personal BBQ's are allowed in rooms or on decks.
Elevators: The Pinnacle Lodge has two story buildings with no elevators.
Guest Kitchen and Dining Hall: Shared space with BBQ, microwave, skillets, dishware, and utensils & freezers. Please be courteous and tidy up for next guest to use as this is a shared space.
Unit Locations:
Building 1: Rooms 11–20
Building 2: Rooms 1–10
No staff on site after 7:00 PM: Lodge is monitored by surveillance cameras for guest safety after hours.

Breakfast Update:
Starting October 1, 2025, The Pinnacle Lodge is no longer serving breakfast—thanks to feedback from our YOC guests! The Dining Hall in Building 1 remains open for everyone to share & prepare their own meals.
We’ve got you covered with dishware, utensils, skillets, a microwave, BBQ, and freezers.

Common Room in Building 2 has been upgraded to include a dedicated shared space for guests to prepare their own meals.
This space is also equipped with tables, chairs, and a variety of cooking equipment and utensils to help make your stay feel more like home.
We hope you enjoy this new amenity and find it both convenient and comfortable.

VI Resorts Canada – All payments are processed in Canadian currency. At check-in, guests must pay:

Fines: The following fines will be assessed for non-compliance.
Over-occupancy policy: $50.00 per person, per night. Occupancy limits apply to all ages including infants.
No pet policy: $350.00. Pets are not allowed at VI Resorts.
No smoking policy: $350.00. Smoking is not allowed in rooms, decks, lanais or patios.
Late check-out policy: $25.00. Charged every half hour after check-out time of 11:00am.
Key replacement fee: $50.00
Breakfast & Mandatory Fee: As of October 1, 2025, only complimentary coffee/tea and fresh-baked muffins will be offered guests each morning to ‘grab and go’. Building 1&2 common areas are still available for guests to prepare their own meals at their convenience.
Due to increased dining options in the Sun Peaks area, along with guest feedback, The Pinnacle Lodge has discontinued our daily breakfast and mandatory fee.
Parking: Garage parking is available for CAD$20.00 CAD per vehicle, per day (plus tax). Outside parking is available at no charge for one vehicle per unit during your stay. An additional $10 energy fee if you charge your vehicle outside of the garage, on top of the parking fee.Onsite charges at VI Managed resorts in Canada:Onsite charges in Canada:All payments taken at VI Resorts in Canada are processed in Canadian currency.Charges on site at check in include:-damage deposit-applicable room taxes
